Charity Idea or Shirt?

So the idea behind this shirt is to toss a line out to a niche market and see if it bites. We already have a guest artist deal going, but if we want to be charitable we can donate to causes.

For example: We have a little write up accompanying this that says what this shirt stands for a.k.a. where the consumer's money is going (enabling people to help). So this shirt has a powerful graphic that references the janjaweed (crazy bad dudes in sudan, darfur or you can watch this to find out more ) Hopefully people would notice, ask the consumer what his/her shirt meant, they would explain, and maybe someone new comes to check out our site. the key is to do this monthly, same with the guest artist so people have a reason to check back.

let me know what you think.

I really like the idea of doing a charity shirt to draw peoples attention to a certain event or circumstance, whether local or international. I think it shows that we are socially conscious and do what we can to help people in need. on a specific level, we're talking about giving the money we would pocket to the charity, not the whole $20-something right?

we would donate a percentage of the profits to the charity, we still need to cover operating costs!

also, i like the one without the bomber better. I was talking to scott and think it is confusing to the over all message.

hey i totally agree about the one without the bomber, when i realized that it was about a specific people in darfur it didn't make sense to me anymore either...
